I walk to school in the morning.
I go to school on foot in the morning.(有个人回答写on the morning是错的！！除非是具体的某一天早上，如：on Monday morning)

如果这么说的话表示常常这样，不指定某一天。
但如果你要特指某一天的早上，就要用过去时。
例：我今天早上步行去上学。
I walked to school on this morning.
I went to school on foot on this morning.
