释义

consider的基本意思是用脑细想和斟酌，也可表示为找到结论而想方设法，还可以表示限定在确定的观点上，即认为。引申可表示关心顾及体谅等。

用法

1、consider思考、考虑(=think about)后面可接名词、代词、动名词；由how、what等+动词不定式或者从句作宾语。但要特别注意：consider后面不能直接跟动词不定式作宾语。

例如：We must consider the problem very carefully.

We are considering going to Hainan for the Spring Festival.

2、consider.考虑到"、"顾及"、"体谅"。这时其后用名词或动名词作宾语。

例如：All of you should consider the feelings of other people.

Although he has made such as tupid mistake,you should consider his youth.

3、认为、以为、觉得(=beoftheopion,regardas）后面多接宾语从句，这时一般不接动名词作宾语。

例如：I consider that he is fit for the position of the manager.

4、consider作认为之意时，后面还可以接宾语+宾补的结构宾补多为动词不定式，其结构主要是tobe名词/形容词，to be可以省略；有时也可以是其它不定式，不过这种不定式多用完成时。

例如：We always consider him to be a wise leader.

5、固定结构"consider...as/to be+名词/形容词"多侧重于表示经过思考"认为…"

例如：They considered the plan as reasonable.
