无锡市安镇实验小学 华彬  Ⅰ教材简析  本单元是《牛津小学英语6A》的第一单元,该单元主要围绕“公共标志”这个话题展开各项活动,所涉及到的日常交际项目有介绍、询问、忠告和建议等,其中以询问公共标志含义及其应答为重点内容。学生们在日常生活中对公共标志并不陌生,但作为一个话题来谈论会有一定的困难。为了使学生更好地掌握本单元的学习内容,教师在教学过程中要考虑学生的年龄特点,充分利用多媒体课件、图片、幻灯片、简笔画等手段,运用形象化的语言和动作,使教学内容更贴近学生的生活,激发学生的学习兴趣,提高学生参与语言活动的积极性。  Ⅱ教学目标  1、知识技能:  (1)掌握标志含义No smoking, No littering, No parking, Do not touch, Danger! No eating or drinking, keep off the grass, be quiet  (2)进一步巩固掌握句型:What does it/this sign mean? It means….   It means you/we should/shouldn’t…   2. 情感态度价值观:培养学生的公共意识,维护公共秩序。  Ⅲ 教学重点、难点   1.各标志的读法及含义  2.巩固掌握句型:What does it/this sign mean? It means…   It means you/we should/shouldn’t…  Ⅳ 设计理念  本课时,我主要采用多媒体创设情境的方法进行教学,然后在游戏中进行巩固,增强趣味性和实用性。  英语是一门交际性和实践性很强的课程,教学离不开情境,情境是客观存在的,离开情境语言就失去了本质涵义。因此在设计教学中,我借助多媒体教学手段,努力创设让学生喜闻乐见的学习情境,进行情境教学,在交际活动中让学生自然进入角色,体会情感,在一种潜移默化中学习。因此,在本课的一开始,我就创设了和孩子们一起去锡惠公园旅游的情境,通过画面的切换,仿佛让学生身在其中,积极地参与教学活动。  游戏是孩子的天性,小学生好动、好胜心强,为了在游戏中表现自己,他们会全身心地投入到游戏中去,此时语言学习就会成为他们的自我需要,游戏的开展使语言教学真正成为师生的双边活动。因此,在教学中我不仅通过形象的多媒体教学媒介创设情境,并借助游戏活动来激发学生求知*,唤起他们的兴趣。我在教学完了新句型之后,我就设计了一个游戏,让学生在游戏中巩固句型,操练句型,使课堂气氛达到*,也让学生达到熟能生巧的目的。  整堂课中,教师通过多媒体技术,展示了一个个情境游戏。授课与情境相结合,使教学内容轻松易学;操练与游戏相结合,使教学内容得以扩充;巩固与游戏相结合,使教学效果更为显著。  Ⅴ 设计思路  1利用歌曲《 The sign in the park》调动学生学习的积极性,并对本课新句型进行渗透。  2学生们在日常生活中对公共标志并不陌生,但作为一个话题来谈论会有一定的困难。因此创设情境,让学生在模拟情境中学习、操练新句型,自然地运用所学语言,学以致用。   3 通过学习,使学生正确掌握单词和句型时,能增强学生的公共道德意识,教育学生能积极维护公共秩序。  VI 教学过程  Step1 Listen to the song   《 The sign in the park》  [ 运用本单元的歌曲引出本课时的句型,做好铺垫,同时将学生的注意力转移到课堂,调动课堂气氛,导入新课的学习。]  Step2 Presentation  1. T: Boys and girls, do you like traveling? S: Yes, we do.  T: Today, Let’s go to Xi Hui Park. OK?  T:( 出示一辆公共汽车) Let’s get on the bus.   Let’s sing the song < The wheels on the bus>  (1) T:(出示汽车上的公共标志)Look, what are they? They are public signs.   板书、学习public signs.   (2) T:(出示禁止吸烟标志)Do you know,what does this sign mean?( 板书)  S:It means “ No smoking.” ( 板书)  T:Yes. We shouldn’t smoke here。( 板书)   学习 smoke , smoking 和 句型 (指导发音 small nose cake → smoke)  (3) T:(出示禁止乱扔垃圾标志)What does the sign mean?   S:It means “ No littering.” ( 板书)  T:Yes. We shouldn’t litter here。( 板书)   学习 litter littering 和 句型 (指导发音 little sister → litter)  (4) T: On the bus, can we eat or drink ?  S: No.  T: What can we say? (出示禁止吃喝标志)  S:No eating or drinking。( 板书)   T:The sign means “No eating or drinking。”  2. T:(出示公园门口图片)Now we are at the gate of the park。  (1)T:(出示禁止停车标志)Can we park here?(学习park停车,公园)  S:No,we can’t。  T:If you are a park keeper, what would you say?  S: You shouldn’t park here./ You should park there. (出示停车场) ( 板书)  T:What does that sign mean?  S: It means “ No parking.” ( 板书)  3.T: (出示公园内部的景色)Now, let’s go in .  (1) T:(出示公园内的草坪) How is the grass? (学习grass,与glass 比较)   S: Very nice.  T: Look, there’s a sign on the grass. (出示禁止踩草坪标志)  Do you want to know what does the sign mean? You can ask me.  S: What does it mean ?   T: It means “ keep off the grass.” ( 板书)   学习 keep 和 句型 (指导发音 kite feet lamp → keep)   T: So you shouldn’t walk on the grass. ( 板书) 学习walk on the grass  (3) T:(出示动物园门口图片)Let’s go to Xi Hui Zoo. Do you like animals?  S: Yes.  T: Animals are our friends. So we can’t hurt them. Look, what’s on the bird’s cage?    学习on the bird’s cage  S: There’s a sign.  T: (出示安静的标志)What does it mean?  S: It means “ Be quiet”. ( 板书) (学习 sit quietly → be quiet比较quietly, quiet)  T: So you shouldn’t make noise here . ( 板书)  (学习 make noise , 比较 noise , nose; noise toilet )  (4) T: Let’s go and see the tigers. (出示禁止触摸和危险的标志)   What do they mean?  ① T:(出示禁止触摸标志)What does it mean?  S:It means “ Do not touch”. ( 板书)  T:We shouldn’t touch it.( 板书)  ② T:(出示危险的标志)What does it mean?  S:It means “ Danger”. ( 板书)  T:We should stay away from the tiger’s cage. ( 板书)   (学习Danger ,stay away from 和句子)  4. T: Now we know a lot about public signs. Let’s have a rest. Shall we play a game, OK?  (1) I have some cards. You can choose one and ask me: What does it/this sign mean?  Model: (老师在扑克牌的牌面上画上一些公共场所和一些公共标志,并拓展一些。)

(2) Practice in pairs   (3) 抽查反馈  (4) Sing the song 《 The sign in the park》  [教师创设了带领学生去旅游的大情境:乘车→到公园门口→进入公园→去公园内的动物园→做游戏→回家。在整个行程中,碰到了一些公共标志,然后在一些小情境中认识标志,学习句型。接着,再创设让学生在休息时做游戏的情境,在游戏中让学生对所学句型进行巩固、操练,增强了趣味性,同时提高了操练的密度和效率。这也符合整个大环境的创设,自然流畅。在游戏的过程中还进行了一些拓展,让学生更多地了解在哪些公共场所不应该做什么事,培养了学生的公共道德意识。]  Step3 Summary   1.T: Boys and girls, did you have a good time?
