Abstract:
Responder, as an electronic proct which has been widely used in a variety of intelligence and knowledge contests, is an essential commonly-used device in quizzes; in principle, it is a typical digital circuit, which includes combinatorial logic circuits and sequential logic circuits. Using simple logic gates, flip-flops, or microcontrollers, the circuit can be structured in a variety of forms. By utilizing single-chip microprocessors, the Responder becomes simpler, superior functionality.
MCU is a kind of highly-integrated chip, which is very small in size, adopting very large scale integration technology to integrate CPU with data processing capability, RAM, ROM, a number of I/O ports, interrupts and timers into a silicon chip to constitute a small functional computer system.
The system uses AT89C52 microcontroller as the core of control system. By using the integrated timers and counters to time and count, hardware and software are combined organically, allowing the system to time correctly, while the digital tube displays numbers and time. The system is divided into two parts: the player circuit and the host-controlled circuit, the connection between the player circuit and the host-controlled circuit is wireless. The host-controlled circuit uses AC power supply; the player circuit, using battery power, is basically accomplished to move freely and wirelessly. The various parts use microcontroller as the core of control systems; wireless transceiver moles as wireless communication devices, having the advantages of simple and reliable circuits. The transmission of data is based on frame structures which package the data to be transferred; the start bit of the frame structures uses a special utility construction, which contains the address information of the sending object and has strong anti-jamming capability, makes the sent data shown very stable and reliable. The countdown display of the responder can be set from 0 - 99 seconds under different circumstances.
