paysb+钱forsth付钱给某人为了某物其中sb和钱可以看情况省略所以pay后面加的是人或钱payfor后面加的是sth
Pay是动词，有付、支付、偿还等等意思，是表示一种行为动作的词，经常使用在交易场合。pay有及物动词和不及物动词两种情况。
pay与一些事实存在的事物结合使用的时候就是及物动词，比如，钱就是实物，与钱使用就有付钱、付款等意思。如，paythemoney付钱
pay与一些不是事实存在的事物结合使用的时候就是不及物动词，比如，款、债务就不是实物，如，topayadebt偿还债务
pay与介词for组合使用，就组成了一个词组，就有很多种使用方式。
意思一般是指为...而付出...、因...而付出...等等意思
