T: Hi! Nice to meet you, too. I'm Tom. Welcome to China. By the way, how long have you been here?
R: For about a month.
T: How do you like the life here in a different country?
R: Fantastic, I think. There are many beautiful interets in China. And the people are very friendly. But you know, I'm not good at Chinese, so it causes a lot of trouble when I want to communicate with others.
T: I can understand you.
R: I'd like to know more about the history and people of China. The most important reason why I want to learn Chinese is the rapid development of Chinese ecnomy. I will tell others around me that if you can't speak Chinese you will lose a lot.
T: I'm very glad to hear that.
R: Thank you! I have already made up my mind to learn Chiese well though it's a little difficult for me.
T: I think all things are easy that done willingly. I'm sure you will make great progress in your Chinese.
R: Thank you very much!
