1、在非限定性定语从句中不使用 that，而要用 which。

I have read all the books, which were assigned by the professor last week.

2、在由介词引导的定语从句中不使用 that，而要用 which/what（指代物），或 whom（指代人）。
I have read all the books, three of which were assigned by the professor last week.

I could tell the difference, among whom I used to work with.

*性定语从句与非*性定语从句

*性定语从句

从语义上看，*性关系从句主要起限定作用，修饰特定的人或事物，如果去掉*性定语从句，整个句子表意会不完整甚至不通顺；从结构上看，*性关系从句常紧跟先行词，并且同先行词之间一般不加逗号分隔（但不是绝对的）。
