玛丽亚·凯莉在唱片录音里最高的是在"All In Your Mind"冲到了F7的位置 ，但在现场"Emotions"里她唱到了G7(有片段可以下载请参考上面的post)也就是钢琴的最高音 ，而作者听过唯一另一人可以唱到如此高音的是Yma Sumac(也有片段，在上面) 。
海豚音是从E6继续往上的这些音符 。基本上这根本不是属于人的声音 。所以才那么少人会 因为你的声带必须是tip-top形状(应该是一种天生的，和一般人不大一样的声带形状吧，我猜)才能唱得出来 。不过海豚音只是一种style(就是添加歌曲花色趣味，但总不能1张唱片10首歌全这样唱吧)而不是一般唱歌的声音,但你仍能在这段"海豚音域"(这是我自己掰的)中加入自己的声音(我想在I STILL BELIEVE结尾就是如此吧！)
在声乐界玛丽亚·凯莉可以叫做Coloratura Soprano(带有戏剧张力的花腔女高音)

顺带提 一些专业的歌手是可以改变他们唱歌所表达的感觉 ，whitney刚出道唱的是女高音现在则介于高和中音之间( trey lorenz讲话是男高音但他可以唱男中音有时也会耍花腔女高音(这让我想到MTV unplugged的I'll Be There) 根据上述！
1.大约有85%的女高平常音声音是清亮并且十分有力量，另外15%就是有像女低音一样低沉的嗓音。

3.2005年超级女声比赛中，张靓颖演唱的《loving you》第一次让大多数中国电视观众见识了海豚音这一演唱技巧。此后她又在多首中文歌的演绎中使用了海豚音，主要作品有《open up your dream》、《点燃* 传递梦想》《天下无双》《画心》《your song》《另一个天堂》《靠近你》。《另一个天堂》中海豚音达到G#6。
