1、2002年，获校优秀研究生指导教师称号；
2、2003年，入选湖北省首届新世纪高层次人才的第二层次；
3、2004年，主持的“生命科学与技术人才培养实验教学新体系及探究式教学方法研究与实践”获湖北省教学成果一等奖（排名第一）；
4、2005年，指导的博士生论文获校优秀博士论文奖；
5、2006年，入选教育部新世纪优秀人才；主持的项目“紫杉醇生物合成代谢*的分子机理研究”获湖北省自然科学三等奖（排名第一）；
6、2006年，指导的博士生论文获湖北省优秀博士论文；主编的化学工业出版社出版的《发酵工程原理与技术应用》列为普通高等教育“十一五”国家级规划教材；
7、2007年，主编的《发酵工程原理与技术应用》评为国家级精品教材；
8、2008年，负责的《发酵工程》评为国家精品课程，荣获华中科技大学教学名师称号；
