I really think that this movie is good for people of all ages to see. Each actor/actress does well in his/her own right. This modern day variation of the book turned out to be a very good rendition of an old favorite. Jamie Lee Curtis plays (extremely well) the high-tech working single mom, who has a hard time making time for or even understanding her rock and roll loving teenage daughter played by Lindsay Lohan (who you may recognize from the Parent Trap remake). I recommend it for anyone who is looking for a good family movie to see.
