Depending on the processing of the message type “WMTA”, there are different processing type:􀁹 Time 1-3 (processing later)- In this case, the message is processed either via a batch program or manually via the transaction“Messages for delivery”. Since this processing type is executed separately from the deliverycreation process, we refer to this as Automatic Transfer Order Creation.􀁹 Time 4 (Processing Immediately)- Here message processing is initiated immediately after the delivery has been created. Therefore,this is referred to as Immediate Transfer Order Creation.

At the interface from SD Shipping to WM, you can set immediate or automatic transfer ordercreation for deliveries. Processing is controlled by the message control function of the shippingmole. Via the condition technique, you can initiate the message type WMTA upon creation of thedelivery. The requirement for this is that at least one item of the delivery is relevant for WM. Thecombination “Shipping point / Delivery type” is responsible for finding the message type.
