首先在Our clavichord is kept in the living room 这句话里面，主语是钢琴，钢琴被放在起居室里，这里的keep当然要用被动语态be kept。而后面那句话主语变成了“we”，我们把钢琴放在了起居室，是一般语态，所以要用一般现在时keep。
切记，动词始终只对主语负责，主语是什么状态，动词就是什么状态。
这题可切换成一下：
1：Our clavichord is kept in the living room .（我们的钢琴被放在起居室里。主语“钢琴”处于被动式，故动词使用keep的被动语态be kept.）
2：we keep our clavichord in the livingroom.（我们把钢琴放在起居室里。主语“我们”为主动语态，故使用一般现在时keep）
and as you know,the whole question is a bloody clause,and the "that" in the sentense means "livingroom",that's why I tranform the sentense into those two that have been shown.
