Everyone requires friendship. No one can navigate through life's ocean alone. We need support and assistance from others, while also providing help in return. In the modern era, the significance of relationships and connections is increasingly recognized. A person with charm often has many friends, and their power stems from their ability to give.
The term "friend" encompasses a broad range of meanings. It can refer to a mere acquaintance, a comrade, a confidant, a partner, a playmate, a brother, or an intimate.
Since life is filled with challenges and conflicts, we rely on friends for support and help in overcoming difficulties. Our friends warn us of dangers, and true friends share not only happiness but often also sorrow.
With friendship, life is filled with joy and harmony. Without it, life can be hostile and filled with misfortune. I have friends from various walks of life. Some are wealthy and hold power, while others are humble and ordinary. Some, like myself, are teachers, content with a simple life of reading, writing, and living modestly. I understand what to value, tolerate, and share with many of my friends. I will never forget my old friends and continue to make new ones. I will not be indifferent to my less fortunate friends and will express concern for them, even if it's only through a word of comfort.
