1 the shops （cutting the price for the old clothes (as for) food for the party, i have prepared it.
这句的谓语动词是后面的have prepared ，所以前面的动词只能作定语，用cutting ,
as for 是介词短语，没有变化形式，表示“至于....关于...”

2 the restaurant has a( better service) so i often eat there
这是表示因果关系，那家餐馆提供更好的服务，所以我经常在那里吃。
我认为填better 更好，如果你要填good 也不算错就是
