The ultimate goal of leaning English would be having the freedom to travel everywhere around the world as English is a widely used language across many countries.
Another wonderful thing about learning English is the self satisfaction. You would feel you have achieved something great for learning another language. This is something not many people are able to do.

I don't think there is an ultimate goal of learning English.Everyone learn English has his own purpose,for exams,for good job,salary,or for his intrests,and so on.
