I have heard of the mirage of Deng Zhou for a long time. The elders say that it appears frequently in spring and summer. Now,it cannot be seen because it is late of the year. On the fifth day when I took the office, I went there but failed to see any mirage. I was irritated and make a offer at the temple of sea god. The next day I saw it, so I wrote this poem.
Clouds of the east is vacant,
where the fairies show up and disappear.
Shake the world and make all,
How can shell doors be concealed in a palace?

我听说登州海市很久了，老乡们说常在春天和秋天出现，现在岁末了，不可能再出现了.我上任5天就去观看，但没看到很生气。就到海神广德王庙祷告，第二天就看到了海市。于是，写了这首诗。
